Professional Background
With over 18 years of professional experience in dentistry, Dr. Jay has established a respected name in the industry, guided by hard work and a passion for his chosen field. His career began at the White House Optical and Dental Clinic from January 2009 to September 2009. He then served as an Associate Dentist at Francisco Smile Design from October 2009 to March 2013. In 2013, driven by a desire to provide a more passionate and principled approach to dental care, Dr. Jay boldly ventured to establish his own practice, where he continues to serve his patients with dedication and expertise. He is also an active member of the Philippine Dental Association (PDA), Pasig-Pateros-Taguig Chapter, and the Philippine Association of Functional Jaw Orthopedics–Temporomandibular Joint, Inc. (PAFJO).
Dr. Jay's approach to dentistry is guided by his commitment to creating a welcoming environment. He ensures that every patient feels valued and understood, tailoring his care to meet their individual needs. His flexibility allows him to adapt to various situations, providing personalized treatments that prioritize patient comfort and satisfaction. Education
Born in Kalinga-Apayao and raised in Albay, Dr. Jay's journey in dentistry is a testament to his resilience and determination. Despite facing challenges during his college years, his unwavering commitment to his goals saw him through to graduation. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Ago Medical and Educational Center – BCCM in 2008 and passed the Dentist Licensure Examination the same year.
Committed to continuous professional development and comprehensive patient care, Dr. Jay completed orthodontic training through the Center for Orthodontic Training Seminars in 2011, followed by advanced training at the Philippine Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry in 2016.
Building on his foundation in orthodontics, he continues to expand his expertise and is currently enrolled in the PAFJO TMJ, Orofacial Pain & Airway Course Program. This ongoing training further develops his knowledge in the assessment and management of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, orofacial pain, and related concerns.
As an accredited Invisalign provider, Dr. Jay also offers patients a modern, discreet approach to orthodontic treatment, combining functional considerations with the goal of achieving healthy, confident smiles.
Beyond his professional training and clinical practice, Dr. Jay’s journey began in his hometown of Polangui, Albay, where he completed both his elementary and high school education.
Personal Background
Raised in a small, tight-knit family where moral values are prioritized over material principles, Dr. Jay takes pride in his family's role in his personal and professional success. His wife, Madelle , supports him as he embarks on the challenging journey of his advocacies and ventures. They homeschool their daughter, fostering a close family bond and a nurturing educational environment.
Dr. Jay's interests and hobbies are diverse and extend to fitness, weight training, running, and playing badminton.
His life verse is Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." This verse encapsulates his dedication to his profession and his faith-driven approach to his work and life.
